Description: Supervising staff: Training and mentoring bartenders, and conducting staff meetings
Managing bar operations: Overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing the bar
Preparing drinks: Creating new cocktails, testing recipes, and ensuring proper storage of beverages
Maintaining inventory: Ordering supplies, monitoring stock, and ensuring efficient use of products
Ensuring compliance: Following health and safety regulations, and implementing and enforcing bar policies and procedures
Providing customer service: Handling complaints, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service
Managing costs: Monitoring and managing bar expenses and budget, and ensuring accurate cash handling and financial reporting
Collaborating with management: Working with management to achieve business goals
Staying updated: Keeping up with industry trends and new products
Ideal candidates for this role should have strong beverage preparation knowledge, dexterity, leadership, supervisory skills, and organization. They should also be able to communicate with customers and peers in a friendly and positive way
