He manages reservations, assigns tables, and anticipates guests needs.
Staff Management:
He may be required to manage a team, organize schedules, and train new employees.
Customer Advice:
He advises guests on dishes and wines and answers their questions.
Complaint Management:
He intervenes to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Setting Up the Dining Room:
He ensures cleanliness and table layout.
Communication with the Kitchen:
He informs the kitchen of service specifications, orders, and daily specials.
