- Cleaning: Cleaning the laundry area and ensuring its kept clean and organized
Washing: Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry
Ironing: Ironing and pressing laundry items
Maintaining equipment: Operating and maintaining laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
Inventory: Maintaining inventory of laundry supplies and notifying the supervisor when restocking is needed
Labeling: Ensuring that all laundry is properly labeled and returned to the correct owner
Safety: Following safety protocols
Reporting: Inspecting laundry for stains, tears, or damage and reporting any issues to the supervisor
Security: Maintaining security measures by counting and making rounds through the laundry area
Preventative maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance on laundry equipment
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial laundry equipment
