Description: Looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of earthmoving heavy equipment. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting engines, carrying out services, conducting repairs, hydraulic repairs and providing routine maintenance on equipment.

You should have proven 5 years working experience with heavy equipment engine overhauling and hydraulic system.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:

· Inspecting heavy equipment for proper performance.

· Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.

· Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs

· Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.

· Repairing damaged equipment parts.

· Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy Machine/ heavy vehicles.

· Cleaning and servicing of machine.

· Performing major repair work when necessary.

· Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.

· Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.
