Description: What are the duties of a pharmacy assistant?
Package, label and dispense medications. Check inventory and restock drugs and other items. Check for expired medications and discard it properly. Help customers find what they need or send them to the pharmacist for more help.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
Current Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license
Previous experience of at least 6 months preferred.
Proficient computer (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and typing skills.
Ability to operate a calculator and use intermediate math skills.
Ability to communicate clearly both in-person and over the phone.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Ability to multitask, to manage several different projects at once and ensure that everything gets completed in a timely manner.
Pay close attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
