A Medical Secretary provides administrative and secretarial support in a medical office or clinic, managing appointments, patient records, and other essential tasks while also interacting with patients and staff. They are the primary point of contact for patients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records.
Requirements
Experience with electronic medical records.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a medical secretary.
Degree from approved medical administrative program or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
