Description: A Chemist conducts research and experiments to analyze chemical reactions and properties. They work in various settings such as laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions. Chemists play a crucial role in developing new products, improving processes, and ensuring the safety and quality of chemicals.

Responsibilities
• Design and conduct experiments to analyze chemical properties.
• Develop and improve chemical formulas and processes.
• Analyze and interpret data using various laboratory techniques.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on research findings.
• Collaborate with other scientists and researchers on projects.
• Stay updated on advancements and trends in chemistry.
• Bachelors degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field.
• Strong scientific and research skills.
• Knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and food safety regulations.
• Understanding of food processing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to conduct experiments and analyze data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques.
• Experience in product development or food manufacturing is a plus.

Requirements: Previous experience as a chemist
Laboratory work is a plus
Hands-on experience with spectrometry and chromatography instruments and techniques
Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety standards
Excellent analytical and research skills
Attention to detail
BSc in Chemistry
Additional certification (Master’s degree or a PhD) is a plus
