- We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.
To be a successful Accounting Assistant, you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel or Quickbooks. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
-Providing support to the Accounting Department.
-Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
-Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
-Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Requirements
- We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join us in the Corporate Finance Department. The Assistant will provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager in the following responsibilities:
Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Researching and responding to vendor inquiries
Provide support to hotel properties for the A/P and EOM process
Handle mailing of checks
Additional Accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications, Perks & Company Information
Prior payables experience required, hospitality experience preferred
Excellent Guest Service, Computer and Communication Skills are required via verbal, written and electronic means.
