- A pediatrician provides general medical care, monitors growth and development, and tracks and administers immunizations for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The pediatrician diagnoses and treats illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries, and eases the lives of children with chronic conditions.Looking for a DHA-licensed and experienced Pediatrist to join our Multispecialty Clinic in Dubai Healthcare City.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on infants and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
• Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather information about the health condition.
• Diagnose the patient based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history.
• Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration of medications.
• Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities.
• Prepare and administer vaccines according to the governmental vaccination policy.
• Examine and treat injuries and refer the patients to physicians of other disciplines when necessary.
• Advise parents on children’s diet, exercise and disease preventive measures.
• Keep updated records of patients’ illnesses, treatment plans or any other medical episodes.
• Keep abreast of advancements in pediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and conferences.
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

- Required Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience as a pediatrician
• Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics
• Valid license to practice medicine
• Minimum five years of pediatric experience
• In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
• Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
