Description: We are looking to fill the full time year round position of a 2nd year Maintenance Technician at our hospital. You will work closely with our Maintenance Department teams to use your knowledge and experience as an Apprentice Electrician. If you enjoy getting your hands dirty, work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and love then mountain lifestyle, this is the right job for you.

Responsibilities
To assist in preventive maintenance, inventory and recording systems
To observe and report any potential safety hazards.
Assist with Lift Maintenance in electrical aspects of the lifts.
Maintain a clean work area in safe and orderly fashion
Repair and test electrical systems
Assist other departments with general maintenance needs as appropriate
Adhere to occupational Health and Safety Codes

Requirements: 1. High school graduation with related shop courses preferred
2. Up to one month’s on-the-job training to learn location of equipment, supplies and hospital
layout. Working knowledge of related sections of public building and safety codes
3. Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
4. Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
5. Effective problem-solving abilities.
