Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Florist with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the floral industry. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating stunning floral arrangements. The florist will be responsible for designing, creating and delivering beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and create beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces for a variety of occasions • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including consulting with them on their needs and preferences, and offering expert advice and recommendations • Work closely with the sales team to ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper care and maintenance of flowers and equipment • Manage inventory, ordering and stocking of flowers, plants, and supplies as needed • Assist with delivery and set-up of floral arrangements for events, including coordinating with event planners and other vendors as necessary • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the floral industry • Train and mentor junior staff members
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the floral industry • A passion for flowers and design, with a strong creative vision • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Knowledge of different flowers, plants, and their care and maintenance • Familiarity with floral design software and other relevant tools • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as buckets of water and large floral arrangements • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
