Floral arrangements
Florists design and create arrangements for events, competitions, and shows. They also arrange bouquets for sale.
Flower care
Florists order, unpack, and care for flowers and plants to keep them fresh and healthy. They may also teach customers how to care for their purchases.
Displaying flowers
Florists create and change window and in-store displays to enhance the shops image. They also deliver displays to homes, offices, and event venues.
Store maintenance
Florists keep the shop clean and tidy by sweeping the floor, washing containers, and unpacking stock.
Building relationships
Florists build relationships with suppliers and wholesalers.
Learning and teaching
Florists keep up with new trends and techniques in floristry, and may conduct classes or demonstrations.
Florists are also known as floral designers or floral specialists. They typically work in retail businesses, flower shops, or grocery stores.

Requirements: ‏‏Have a strong knowledge about range of floral designs, flowers along with their seasonal availability.
‏Must be friendly, helpful, ambitious and able to multi task.
‏Basic Skills:
‏- basic Computer skills and internet searching
‏- knowledge about POS/ Microsoft apps
‏- gift wrapping
‏- contacting with suppliers
‏- customer service
‏- Basic knowledge of flower care methods
‏- fluent in English ( read, write and speak)
