Description: A reservationist, sometimes referred to as a reservation agent, is the person who is responsible for handling various types of reservations within their industry. This person can work for hotels, airlines, resorts, travel companies, or booking services.

Requirements: -Understand Revenue Management strategies and apply these methods to maximize occupancy per available inventory.
-Drive Rate and RevPar through selling the right properties to the right guests, ensuring revenue is maximized by up-selling reservations and recommending extended stays.
-Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure highest level of customer service is maintained and the maximum profit is generated.
-Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service - understanding and preempting guest needs to drive reservations and provide a superior experience.
-Book and enter reservation information using the Property Management System, ensuring full accuracy of data in order to continuously improve sales, marketing and experience strategies.
-Process and reconcile payments on all reservations, prepare and update reports as needed.
-Answer telephone, text message and email inquiries in a timely manner.
-Consistently demonstrate a commitment to guest experience excellence and profitably through special duties as assigned.
