Description
Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing all staff. Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all bedrooms, public areas and offices. To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the hospital on a daily basis
Requirements
Experience: 2 to 3 year
Bachelor degree
The ability to manage and direct the hospitality functions in accordance with ICC policies and procedures, and with state and local regulations is required. Knowledge of cleaning and laundering practices and techniques is required. The ability to exercise good judgment and make confident ethical decisions is essential. Must be able to effectively manage time in order to complete multiple tasks. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required. Must possess computer skills for placing orders and creating department schedules. Requires frequent lifting, stretching, bending and standing for long periods of time. Requires pushing of linen carts.
