Description: Patient care: Preparing patients for imaging, explaining the procedure, and ensuring their comfort
Radiation safety: Protecting patients from radiation and ensuring they comply with safety standards
Imaging equipment: Operating X-ray machines, adjusting settings, and ensuring the equipment is in good working order
Image quality: Evaluating the quality and accuracy of X-ray images, and retaking them if needed
Reporting: Reporting X-ray results, and providing information to other medical professionals
Documentation: Maintaining patient records and submitting reports
Supplies: Maintaining supply inventory and ensuring there are adequate supplies of testing equipment
Cleaning: Disinfecting radiographic rooms and ensuring exam areas are clean
Training: Participating in continuing education programs

Proper licensure or certification as mandated by local or national authorities
