Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Consultant Urologist to work in one of the regions most high-profile private healthcare groups.

This 182-bed general hospital is located in the heart of New Dubai. The facility includes a large ambulatory care component with over 120 exam and treatment rooms. The program also features emergency unit, radiology, pharmacy, surgery, physiotherapy, renal dialysis, endoscopy, day-care, ICU, labour, and delivery, and a NICU. It has dedicated inpatient nursing units for paediatrics, medical, surgical, post-partum and support units like CSSD, dietary services, administration, and materials management.

They provide checkups and basic appointments and perform surgery to treat threatening medical issues.

Job Responsibilities:
• Examine, diagnose, and treating patient conditions and disorders of the genitourinary organs and tracts
• Documenting and reviewing patients histories
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Using specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters
• Treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions
• Prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries
• Prescribing medications for patients with erectile dysfunction, infertility, or ejaculation problems
• Directing nurses, residents, or other staff
• Preforming surgical procedure and post-surgical patient care
• Consult with patients following operations and treatments and recommend postoperative care

Other Responsibilities:
• Schedule time, space, and staff for surgery and other procedures File and organize patients confidential documents
• Assures quality and safe practices for patients and staff by enforcing policies, procedures, standards, rules, and legal regulations; participating in case reviews, and remaining available for emergency consultations
• Maintains historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events and writing summaries
• Refer patients to the other specialist as per patient requirement
• Participate in event/corporate programming, social media marketing and other marketing activities
• Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Any other task as assigned by management on a time to time basis as per the organizations needs.
Requirements
A Medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship in urology.
A state license and certification to practice urology.
The ability to keep updated on the latest medical technologies.
The flexibility to work irregular hours and remain on emergency call.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good teamworking, leadership, and organizational skills.
