Description: The Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients. They will operate ultrasound equipment, capture images, and analyze the results to provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic reports. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Analyze image results and provide accurate diagnostic reports to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and recommend further examinations if necessary.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment.
• Stay up-to-date on advances in ultrasound technology and techniques.
• Associates degree in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer.
• Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and analyzing images.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements: An associates or bachelors degree in sonography.
An industry certification and state license may be advantageous.
Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
The ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way.
Good eyesight and attention to detail.
