Description: Use medical imaging to diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions
Select the most appropriate imaging technique for a patient
Perform minimally invasive procedures
Provide guidance to other doctors and staff
Liaise with other staff to ensure quality treatment
Write up imaging reports and present cases to a multidisciplinary team
Teach junior staff
Participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in radiology.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
Proficient in general radiology techniques, including X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound.
Patient management skills.
