Description: A Pharmacy Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a pharmacy operation, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services by managing staff, developing policies, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, all while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations; key duties include medication management, staff training, budget oversight, quality improvement initiatives, and fostering positive relationships with other healthcare departments to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Current and active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge and experience with pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy information systems.
Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
