- We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to support our pharmacy team.
Responsibilities
Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation of prescription orders
Process customer transactions at the cash register
Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock
Answer customer inquiries, directing them to the Pharmacist when necessary
Manage administrative tasks such as filing, compiling, and maintaining prescription records
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments
- Requirements
- Secondary certificate
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and calculations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information
Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician is an advantage
