Description: An Orthopedic Spine Surgeon is a highly specialized medical professional who diagnoses and treats spinal conditions, injuries, and deformities using surgical interventions, primarily focusing on the musculoskeletal system, by performing complex procedures like spinal fusions, discectomies, and minimally invasive spine surgeries, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including pre- and post-operative management, and staying updated on the latest advancements in spine surgery techniques and technologies.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
1 to 4 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Successful completion of the State Medical Licensing Examination or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination
Certification by the Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopedic surgery and/or a subspecialty, such as sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, trauma, or pediatrics.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
