Description: Nurse educators teach clinical skills, patient care, and collaboration practices to nursing students and registered nurses. They may teach in classrooms, deliver lectures and seminars, and provide training and mentoring.
Program development
Nurse educators design, develop, and evaluate nursing programs and curricula. They may also revise courses and develop new ones.
Research
Nurse educators may conduct research or participate in studies to improve nursing education. They may also research methods to improve student education in clinical settings.

Requirements: A masters or doctoral degree in nursing.
A Certified Nurse Education certification.
A Registered Nursing Licence.
A strong clinical background.
A working knowledge of the theories of education and learning to design curricula.
Current working knowledge of clinical procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
