Description: Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

Requirements: High school degree or GED certificate
Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant education program
Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and BLS certification
At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical equipment
Basic computer and record-keeping skills
Physical and mental stamina; ability to work long hours on ones feet and lift 25+ pounds
