- Assists in the delivery room and provides immediate care to an infant with medical conditions at birth. Consults with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine and pediatricians on the infants care. Provides support to families during their babys NICU stay.

- MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
Full GMC registration and licence to practise
Inclusion in the specialist register in Paediatrics (neonatal medicine) or equivalent or paediatric CCT with adequate neonatal experience of working in tertiary neonatal unit
