Description
A neonatologist is a medical doctor specializing in the treatment of newborn infants with breathing disorders, birth defects, or infections. The neonatologist will manage the medical care for these at-risk newborns.

We are looking for a dedicated, caring neonatologist to provide medical care for premature and critically ill newborn infants. The neonatologist will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, along with pediatricians and dieticians, to ensure newborns receive the nutrition and treatment necessary for growth and healing. You will work with premature infants and infants born with serious illnesses, diseases contracted after birth, low birth weight, and congenital malformations.

To be a successful neonatologist, you should be dedicated to the care of at-risk newborns and have excellent analytical and decision-making skills. You should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and treat your patients and their family members with compassion and empathy.

Neonatologist duties and responsibilities;

> Examine reports about pre-natal abnormalities
> Provide care to premature newborns with birth defects and illnesses
> Develop specialized treatment plans for newborns in need
> Collaborate with nutritionists and provide appropriate diet for newborns
> Stabilize newborns after cesarean sections or other traumatic births
> Provide follow-up care
> Instruct families about patient conditions and provide recommendations for care
Requirements
A medical degree in neonatology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
A license and certification to practice neonatology.
A willingness to work long hours and remain on-call for emergency situations.
The ability to work under pressure and stress.
Strong communication skills and patience and empathy towards patients and their families.
Strong dedication and motivation for helping newborn infants.
