Description: Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and experiments
Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments and trials
Recording, analysing and interpreting data
Demonstrating procedures
Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples
Preparing specimens for analysis
Recording test results and other data
Operating laboratory instruments
Preparing reagents, solutions, and media for laboratory tests
Gathering patient information to conduct tests on patients, such as age and sex; organ problems; diseases acquired or inherited; level of physical activity
Checking if any drugs or alcohol are present in the blood sample

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
Valid laboratory technician license.
Proven experience working as a lab technician.
Working experience operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment.
Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.)
In depth knowledge of QHSE management systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
