- We are looking for a reliable and dedicated ENT Assistant to provide support to Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists in delivering exceptional care to patients. This role involves assisting with diagnostic procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Aid ENT specialists during patient assessments and treatments, such as hearing evaluations, nasal examinations, and minor surgical procedures.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
Gather patient information, including medical history and vital signs, and assist with preliminary assessments like hearing tests.
Conduct basic diagnostic procedures, such as audiograms, hearing screenings, and sinus assessments.
Guide patients on aftercare, medications, and lifestyle changes to improve their ear, nose, and throat health.
Handle scheduling, patient record management, and assist with administrative tasks.
Monitor patient progress and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and follow-up care.
Support billing and insurance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Certification or training in medical assisting or related field.
Familiarity with ENT procedures, tools, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both patients and healthcare teams.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced medical setting.
Work Environment:
This position will be in a clinical or hospital setting, where you will assist ENT professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients dealing with various ear, nose, throat, and head and neck conditions.

- The minimum qualifications for an ENT physician assistant include a master’s degree in a physician assistant program. After graduation, you have to obtain your physician assistant license. All US states require licensure for you to practice. The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is the organization that administers the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination. To maintain your physician’s assistant license, you must do 100 hours of continuing education every two years. Once you complete your degree and obtain your license, you can choose to pursue additional education to specialize as an ENT. Strong communication skills are also essential.
