- Dermatopathologists are doctors who use microscopes to look at samples of skin, hair, and nails to diagnose diseases. Their specialty, dermatopathology, is a combination of “dermatology,“ the study of the skin, and “pathology,“ the study of disease.
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Requirements
- Medical Degree with specialization in Dermatology.
Completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam.
Completion of a 3-year dermatology residency.
Attainment of a medical license.
Proficiency with dermatological tools such as comedone extractors, lancet extractors, and cryogens.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in mathematics.
