- We are seeking a highlyskilled,experienced Dermatotherapist to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will perform examinations, diagnose patients, and establish treatment plans. You will be responsible for removing samples for testing and biopsies, prescribing medications and hormone therapy treatments, and performing cosmetic procedures to improve patient appearance and quality of life.
Dermatotherapist Duties and Responsibilities:
-Evaluate patient through questions, examinations, symptom review, and medical testing
-Examine patient skin for abnormalities or malignancies
-Requests and performs biopsies, sample tissue collections, or other tests as needed
- Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree; clinical residency or dermatological fellowship required
Successful completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (U.S.M.L.E.)
Certification by The American Board of Dermatology and licensed to work in state
Participation in further medical education and/or professional organization memberships are preferred
