Description: Completing intake paperwork and updating patient records
Sterilizing and organizing dental tools
Assisting during dental procedures
Chairside assistance during dental procedures
Taking and developing X-rays
Maintaining patient records
Educating patients on oral hygiene
Ensuring infection control
Providing patient care and assistance before, during and after dental procedures
Assisting dentist in performing laboratory tasks and procedures, such as taking and reading X-rays
Instructing patients in proper oral hygiene
Checking patients in, taking a medical history and ensuring they are comfortable before beginning the dental procedure
Using dental tools to clean patient’s teeth

Requirements: Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program.
Dental x-ray certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of Dental Hygiene Program.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
Able to provide great patient care.
