Job Overview:
As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgeries on the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. You will work closely with a team of other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and specialized care to patients with complex oral and facial conditions. Your expertise and skills will be crucial in helping our client deliver exceptional patient care and achieve their mission of improving lives through healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess their oral and facial conditions and determine the best treatment plan.
- Perform surgeries such as corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, and dental implant placement.
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as cleft lip and palate, facial trauma, and facial deformities.
- Work closely with other medical professionals such as dentists, orthodontists, and plastic surgeons to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Utilize the latest surgical techniques and technology to ensure successful outcomes for patients.
- Educate patients on post-surgery care and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on advances in oral maxillofacial surgery.
- Requirements
- Experience: 3 years
- Masters degree
- Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Extraordinary technical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
