Description: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental care team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will be responsible for preparing the treatment room, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals. In addition to clinical support, you will also manage administrative tasks such as updating patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. A successful Dental Nurse should have excellent communication skills, a calm and reassuring demeanor, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans
Manage infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)

Requirements: Certification or diploma in dental nursing or equivalent
Previous experience in a dental practice is an advantage
Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team
Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling
Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
Empathetic and patient-focused attitude
