Description: Provide medical care to adult patients who suffer from heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
Perform diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms, stress tests, and echocardiograms, to determine the condition of a patients heart.
Prescribe medication, create treatment plans, and perform various surgeries if necessary.
Responsible for taking a medical history, conducting physical exams, developing a plan of care, providing health education, specialty referrals, and case management referrals.
Providing follow-up care and applying clear, in-depth documentation through written progress notes and summaries according to standards for quality, service, productivity, and teamwork

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in cardiology.
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and/or a sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
