- A Biomedical Technician, also known as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET), installs, maintains, repairs, and calibrates medical equipment, ensuring its safe and reliable operation for patient care.
- Requirements
- A bachelors degree in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a biomedical technician.
Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in laymans terms.
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
