Description: A full time experienced mechanical engineer is needed in a construction company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Interested applicants should have familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools like AutoCad or other.

Preferred candidates should have hands on experience with computer aided engineering and computer aided manufacturing.

Ideal applicants should have a solid understanding of core concepts including mechanical mechanics ,kinematics ,thermodynamics,materials science.

Selected candidates should have ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Selected applicants should be able to perform a full life cycle product development like design,develop,test prototype,manufacture and implement.

Ideal candidates should be able to identify ,formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.

Preferred applicants should be able to alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.

Interested candidates should be able to engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods.

Requirements: Certification in Engineering or Mechananical Trade qualification
Experience in FMCG/Food industry within a development in a maintenance / production environment
Experience in a team leader or supervisor role in a maintenance environment
Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and OH&S requirements
Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the proven ability to coach and mentor staff
Excellent organisational, planning/resourcing and time management skills
Be Proactive and Self-motivated
Honest, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Have great attention to detail and be able to prioritise effectively and to adapt to changing priorities
Able to set up new systems and review existing systems for continual improvement
