Description: Safe Operation:
Operate heavy buses on scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Passenger Assistance:
Help passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities, and ensure a comfortable and safe journey.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
Route Adherence:
Follow designated routes and schedules, making stops at designated locations.
Communication:
Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding route updates, delays, or any incidents.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance issues.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey, and follow all safety procedures.
Professionalism:
Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving record
Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
A high school diploma
