- Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording all transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Ensure that financial data is properly classified and coded for easy retrieval and analysis.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Present financial reports to management and provide analysis on key financial metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis to identify areas of improvement or concern.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on your analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Assist in the preparation of documentation and support for external audits.
Payroll and Taxation: Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions. Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable tax laws.
Financial Systems and Processes: Continuously review and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
Financial Advisory: Provide financial guidance and support to management on matters such as cost management, investment opportunities, and financial risks.

- Job Requirements
• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with SAP accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
