- We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to serve as our Medical Insurance Coordinator. As a critical part of our healthcare team, you will play an essential role in coordinating our patients health insurance benefits, ensuring smooth operations, and facilitating effective patient care.
Medical Insurance Co-ordinator Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and liaise with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure seamless handling of medical insurance matters.
-Verify, interpret, and explain health insurance benefits to patients.
-Ensure billing and coding procedures meet insurance requirements.
-Resolve patient disputes, billing discrepancies, and insurance clarification requests.
-Maintain and update patient records according to confidentiality regulations.
- Requirements
- High school degree, GED or related.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with data entry.
