Description: An Internal Medicine doctor, also known as an Internist, provides comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of internal organ conditions and chronic diseases. They perform physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage complex medical issues, including chronic illnesses like diabetes and heart disease.

Requirements: Minimum Requirements
SPECIALIST QUALIFICATION :
One of the following Specialist Qualifications in Internal Medicine:
U.S.A: ACGME Residency / Fellowship Program: Certified by American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
U.K: CCT or MRCP or FRCP.
Australia /New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royals College/Colleges.
Canada: CCFP (Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada) OR RCPSC (Specialization Certificate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada)

EXPERIENCE:
Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Internal Medicine.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience after completing the post qualification.
3 years Specialist experience post qualification. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and multi-disciplinary team members. Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment. Must have Good standing status.
Eligible for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi License or transferable UAE license.
