Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. The ENT Surgeon will provide both surgical and non-surgical interventions, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat a wide range of ENT conditions such as hearing loss, sinus issues, throat infections, speech and swallowing disorders, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors.

Perform both routine and complex surgeries related to the ear, nose, and throat, including procedures like tonsillectomies, septoplasties, and ear tube insertions.

Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, audiograms, and imaging.

Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure successful recovery and minimize complications.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and audiologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.

Educate patients and families on treatment options, preventative care, and self-management strategies for chronic ENT conditions.

Stay up to date with advancements in ENT technology and surgical techniques through continuous learning and professional development.

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.

Participate in the development of treatment protocols and patient care standards within the department.

Provide emergency care for patients with acute ENT-related issues.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Completion of an ENT residency program.

Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.

State licensure to practice as an ENT Surgeon.

Proven experience in performing ENT surgeries and managing a variety of ENT conditions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical conditions to patients and families in a clear and compassionate manner.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills:

Fellowship training in a subspecialty of otolaryngology (e.g., pediatric otolaryngology, facial plastic surgery, head and neck oncology).

Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Knowledge of the latest ENT technologies and innovations.

Working Conditions:

Clinical and surgical settings, including hospitals, surgical centers, and outpatient clinics.

On-call availability may be required for emergency surgeries or patient care.

Physical demands include standing for extended periods and performing surgery in various positions.
