- We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Hearing Aid Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Hearing Aid Technician, you will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting, fitting, and maintaining hearing aid devices, ensuring optimal performance and patient satisfaction. You will work closely with audiologists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive hearing care services. In this role, you will conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their hearing needs and preferences. You will perform hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and repairs, ensuring that each device is customized to the patients specific hearing profile. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families on proper hearing aid usage, care, and maintenance, empowering them to manage their hearing health effectively. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build trust and rapport with patients of all ages. Attention to detail and technical proficiency are essential, as you will handle delicate hearing aid components and perform precise adjustments. You will also maintain accurate patient records, documenting all consultations, fittings, adjustments, and repairs in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hearing aid technology preferred.
Previous experience in hearing aid fitting, adjustment, and repair is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
Technical proficiency and attention to detail in handling hearing aid devices.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
