Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hearing Aid Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology and experience working with hearing aid devices. As a Hearing Aid Technician, you will be responsible for assisting patients with the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing aids. You will work closely with audiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with the selection and fitting of hearing aids.
Perform hearing aid repairs and maintenance.
Conduct hearing tests and assessments.
Provide patient education on the use and care of hearing aids.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of audiology principles, hearing assessment techniques, and hearing aid technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Ability to empathize with clients and provide emotional support throughout the hearing aid evaluation and fitting process.
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and software to conduct hearing tests and program hearing aids.
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document client information and maintain records.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hearing aid fitting and performance.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and appointments effectively.
Patience and perseverance to work with clients who may have difficulty adapting to their hearing aids.
Knowledge of hearing aid insurance coverage and reimbursement procedures.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology.
