- - choose and buy flowers or order from a supplier by phone
- monitoring stock and working out what is required for customer orders
- creating floral displays, wreaths and bouquets using flowers, plants, dried flowers, wire, tape, and foam — based on either your own designs, from design books or customers requirements
- Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Florist.
Completion of a Botany-related course is highly advantageous.
Acutely familiar with plants nutritional needs and life spans.
Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques.
Ability to nourish, combine, and affix flowers and pertinent accessories.
Approachable, patient, and forthcoming.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
