ARABIC SPEAKING IT APPLICATION ADMIN
Applications Administration
• Administers and maintains applications ensuring adherence to standards and operating procedures.
• Participates in efforts to implement application updates including upgrades, patches and new releases.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts in accordance to established policies and procedures.
• Identifies and analyses problems, and implements corrective action to minimize downtime.
• Provide support, identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation all issues and solutions.
• Identify and provide resolutions ranging in complexity from medium to high.
• Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively;
• Install and prepare tools required for proper functioning of website front line applications on regular basis;
• Supports in creating user documentation, provides support and training to end-users, and coordinates with third party providers, as required, for problems resolution.
Monitoring
• Monitors, updates, and maintains existing software systems interfaces to ensure that the interfaces exchange data properly.
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all applications, and verifies completion of scheduled maintenance.
• Improves system uptime and stability through proactive monitoring and capacity management solutions.
Relationship Management
• Collaborates with other IT Departments to ensure proper integration of the production environment.
• Works closely with the Application Development department and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications.
Records Management
• Maintains system documentation for all respective applications in adherence to established guidelines.
Self-Management Responsibilities
• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
• Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role.
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Software Engineering
Preferred Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in administering, supporting, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting applications, and knowledge of Windows 2012/2016 Server and SQL.
• Background in software development
