- We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, service, and support of Rapiscans X-ray screening systems in the UAE/MEA region.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, hydraulic, electronics, or complex electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in field service, preferably in the X-ray industry.
The chosen candidate will perform site surveys, generate professional reports, and ensure timely completion of technical documentation. Additionally, they will carry out repairs, maintenance, and overhauls as necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients.
• Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Adjust imaging settings and equipment based on the type of scan required.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure clear and useful images for diagnosis.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Keep detailed patient records and imaging reports.
• Assist in emergency radiology procedures as required.
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and best practices.
