- Diagnose and treat a wide range of childhood illnesses and health conditions
Monitor children’s growth and development and note any deviations from the norm
Provide immunizations and preventive care
Consult with other medical practitioners and specialists as necessary
Educate patients and their families about health and wellness
Document and maintain patient medical records
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Provide emergency care as necessary
