Description
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented pharmacologist to be responsible for developing chemical compounds and substances which can be used as new medications. The Pharmacologist investigates the effects of pharmacological products on organic life systems, investigates the effects of harmful chemicals, and researches the potential beneficial and harmful effects of chemicals on certain regions of the body.

To be a successful pharmacologist, you should be capable of operating medical machinery and equipment used in research and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and dedicated to your work.

Pharmacologist Responsibilities:

-Studying the effects of drugs, chemicals, and other substances on humans, animals, and plants.
-Studying the effects of new or modified medicines and recording the reactions that take place.
-Identifying potentially harmful and beneficial side effects, recommending proper dosages, and describing the circumstances in which the drug should be administered.
-Identifying hazardous substances in the environment by analyzing chemicals used in workplaces, pesticides, food preservatives, and households.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, with keen scientific and development judgment
Communicate clearly through verbal and written communication
Supervise or conduct clinical studies such as drug-drug interaction, special population or bioavailability
Understand cross-functional needs, develop critical rationale, communicate clearly, collaborate with peers and drive innovation
Conduct non-compartmental pharmacokinetic (PK) and PK/pharmacodynamic analyses
Work collaboratively on cross-functional teams
