- A pharmacy assistant performs a wide variety of tasks that can include anything from preparing pills and labelling medication to receiving customers and preparing prescriptions for patients. They should be able to operate the cash registers and manage inventory in and out.
- Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
A pharmacy technician certification.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks.
Basic math skills for counting medications.
Customer service experience.
Experience in a fast paced work environment.
