Description: Diagnosing and treating: Performing regular checkups, diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
Monitoring: Assessing childrens growth and development, and identifying abnormalities
Prescribing: Prescribing medication, surgery, or other therapies
Communicating: Explaining diagnoses and treatment plans to patients and their families
Advising: Advising patients and their families on wellness best practices, nutrition, and preventive measures
Referring: Referring patients to specialist consultants for tests
Writing: Writing patient notes, monitoring progress, and producing medical reports
Training: Supervising and training junior medical staff
Consulting: Consulting with other staff members and nurses on pediatric procedures and best practices
Prioritizing: Prioritizing patient health above all else

Requirements: A Medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship in pediatrics.
A license and certification to practice pediatrics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to relate to children.
Strong decision-making, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
