Description: Emergency Response:
Respond to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital care to patients with injuries or illnesses.
Patient Assessment:
Quickly and accurately assess a patients medical needs and make critical, life-saving decisions.
Treatment and Procedures:
Administer a range of medical treatments, including basic and advanced life support procedures such as CPR, administering medications, and using equipment like defibrillators and ventilators.
Specialized Equipment:
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment found in ambulances.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient conditions, treatments administered, and patient transport.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other emergency responders, including firefighters, police, and hospital staff, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Ambulance Maintenance:
Ensure the ambulance is fully stocked, clean, and in excellent working condition.
Patient Education:
Provide guidance and advice to patients and their families on preventing future emergencies and health issues.
Continuing Education:
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain skills and stay current with best practices
